"Delene and Barry did an outstanding job at our wedding on 10/19/19! We were absolutely thrilled and they exceeded our expectations. Our guests were saying they were the best DJs they’ve ever heard. And the music never stopped for the 5 hours...thank you for adding to make our wedding reception so exceptional...and performing more songs than I even expected..._And what an incredibly beautiful couple they are!!"

We ask them back again each year because they are amazing and they help us to scale our entertainment in keeping with our fundraising goals. They dress in whatever our theme is for the year and are incredibly professional as our "emcees". I have no doubt you will be as pleased as we are with their talent and professionalism!!"

"We surly made the right choice hiring Hot Pursuit for our 50th Wedding Anniversary party. Delene and Barry are very professional, accommodating and easy to work with. Our genre of music was the 50's, 60's and classic rock with some country. Delene mixed in our playlist of favorite songs which was very special to us. The highlight was when Delene sang a special request and Barry played his Saxophone, what a musician! Our guests loved the entertainment and Delene kept the guests informed with announcements and got them up to dance. In our opinion they were certainly the best of those we interviewed and you won't be disappointed if you chose them. J.D. & Marlene"

Groom

"Hot Pursuit and Big Mountain Bluegrass played music for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. As a groom, I expected the bride to have all the fun on the wedding day, but I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life. It was dreamlike. And it was largely due to the musicianship, professionalism, and energy brought by Delene (band lead), Barry, Beth, and the rest of the band members. During the ceremony, we had their three-piece ensemble play classical songs, jazzy songs, and a couple special Cold Play instrumental songs that they learned especially for us. The three-piece ensemble played a mix of bluegrass, jazz, oldies, newies, and just easy listening music for cocktail hour. And they brought the party with a five-piece ensemble that played great dance music at the reception. Without hesitation they catered to me by setting up my guitar beforehand and letting me use a microphone to play a surprise song for my bride during the reception! The drummer even played with me a couple times during the chorus to nudge me back on beat. And as a non-professional musician who was slightly terrified of playing in front of 150 people, I was thankful for the help. Delene energetically engaged the whole crowed as MC and DJ at the reception when the band was taking short breaks. She really did a wonderful job. You never really know how things are going to turn out when planning a big event like this. But the Hot Pursuit Band and the Big Mountain Bluegrass Band exceeded my expectations in every way. I got so many comments from our guests about how wonderful the band was. They were a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. And I would highly recommend them for nearly any music genera at any event. Thank you Delene and crew!"
